Ikhwezi Welfare 

 

Ikhwezi Welfare Organization is a non-profit organization that was established in  1979 by the late Mrs E Mthiyane. 

This pioneer saw a need in this community which at that time did not have any facilities to cater for the physically and 

mentally challenged. 

PROGRAMMES RUN BY THE ORGANISATION

 

• Ikhwezi Home for the mentally and physically disabled children

• Ethel Mthiyane Special School for children with disabilities

• Buhlebesizwe Crèche and pre-School for normal children

• KwamaShandu Old Age Home
